Author Topic: State Trooper Shot in Lake Placid (prayers needed)  (Read 6610 times)

Just got word that Trooper Sottile was shot on a rutine traffic stop in lake placid, he was air lifted to Tampa Gen Hospital. I do not know his condition @ this time.

Nick was shot twice @ point blank range (from the reports I am getting) and he is in emergency surgery as of now. There are two perps one is on foot and the other is still in a vehicle.


   Lots of prayers for this man and his family, please...he is a good man. His oldest son is also a state trooper in Tampa.

confirmed the trooper did pass away.  horrible horrible thing to happen.  I hope the suspects are dealt with accordingly.  thoughts and prayers are with the family.

 Cry Cry Pray for his family now, Nick was fatally wounded and they still have not cought the shooter (s) They are driving a white or tan toyota camery one is on foot and the other could be anyplce by now. They are hispanic males so please report anything to help in the capture of these two men ( if you can call them that). Nick left behind a wife and two sons. God Bless them and bring them peace.

I was not aware that there were this many law enforcement officers in the whole state of Florida!! There is, no joke, Hundreds of law enforcement officers passing by us! God bless his family. I know his brother well. good people! Sad

This a horriable thing,I am a firefighter in Jax,any time a officer,or a fire fighter dies in the line of duty,it makes me sick.

I believe they should show no mercy in  the apprehension of these two reprobates. If it where me I would show extreme prejudice. They deserve nothing but ,to be shown the express lane to hell!! Hopfully the law enforcement community catches them and deals them true justice as to spare the family  the heartbreak of some long drawn out trial and subsequent appeals
