Every did a great job attending the OHV Meeting in Miami. Now we need your support in attending the meeting above. This is the results of the Feasibility Study. In other words this is the product of the 75k grant given to Parks and Recreation to hire consultant to conduct studies on 16 different locations for possible OHV parks in Miami.

WELL THE RESULTS ARE IN. Lets show them we are not going away and we still NEED AND WANT AND WILL FIGHT for a legal and safe place to ride.

Thank you, Smiley

Miamigirlrider has done a great job staying with this and I hope all riders in Dade and Broward will show up and support not only her but yourselves as well.  It was tough to get that 75k through the grant committee at forestry but in spite of the naysayers you guys and gals have done great.
Keep the pressure on, we did in Collier and it looks as if something is finally going to happen. Granted it is not what we had in the blocks, but better than walking away empty handed.

I don't see much of a response here and I don't understand why not?  Sad Undecided

We get on here and on other websites and complain about losing riding areas but now we have an auditorium full of Commissioners, Dealers, Parks and Recreation, SFWMD, FWC, media and who knows who else waiting to hear from us about the list of possible OHV areas and no one really responds.

THIS IS IT PEOPLE! THIS IS THE RESULTS OF THE 75k STUDY, We need to pack this auditorium up and show them we are still here waiting for the land. Its within our reach we just need to make the effort in reaching out and getting it.

PLEASE HELP BY ATTENDING TONIGHTS MEETING.

Yes, there was a decent turn out...
Are we getting a new riding area...............
Not any time soon! The information given at the meeting was basicly a recap of the August meeting and for the most part they did not want to answer question. It was a real let down over all!

We are researching the laws into conducting a PEACEFUL protest in Miami Dade County.

Investigations have been done with 311 and other appropiatte agencies to make sure areas in which this event can take place without permits. We have received several inquiries about the media wanting to be there to report the issue at hand. My last step is to contact the police department to make sure we are all in the same page and no problems arise when we congregate in a street corner with POSTER and HORNS.

Please keep your ears and eyes open for date and location.

I think its time we fight for our rights to ride what we legally purchased and paid taxes on.

The teacher protested and got there increase in pay.
Cubans do it for a cause and there issues are always addressed.

NOW ITS OUR TURN. Lets show Miami Dade County and the ENTIRE state of Florida that we too believe in our rights and that our children deserve a safe and legal riding area.

Thank you for showing up last night to the meeting. Its showed that Miami Dade has what it takes when we unite for a cause!

So this next meeting in Pensacola Fl is going to be another feasibility meeting?
Is anyone close or able to attend a meeting like this up there?
Are these notes from the Miami meeting?
