Man i miss fishing for Peacock bass in the florida canals..

They are from Venezuela just they dont grow as big, Went in Venezuela last year to fish for them and they grow upwards of 36 pounds there.

Pulling in a 8 pound Peacock is like pulling in 10 regular bass at once, so you can imagine fighting the big ones in Venezuela, no light tackle there..

here ya go 15 pounds 3 oz Smiley

Nice Snook by the way, you can also catch them in the fresh water canals during summer when they come in with the tarpon to breed. look under overpasses, usually tons of huge ones like that all together.

Snook one of the smartest fish out there, they will find anything to go around to get the line cut.  Great fighters as well but give up soon after.

Believe me,151 dolphin wouldn't even make a dent in a 1/4 mile radius of the ocean. Deep sea boats catch them by the thousands via nets and sell them to restaurants and have done this for years as well as generations of there familes. If you catch that many and give them away to freinds and family to eat than i say more power to you. On the other hand if you catch that many and eat a few and let the majority rot than thats pretty stupid. Did you catch them all with a rod and reel with light tackle? That would be a dream day of fishing. I'm jealous.
