today mine delveloped an electrical short and is dead.

Mine is a 2001 Sportsman 500......Starter went out last month and I'm still pull starting it Angry. Rear dif or axle making a bad metallic noise as I make left turns....what next?? Thinking about getting a Honda Rincon or Yamaha 660 Grizzly......

Im guessing no reverse  Grin

I just replaced the tranny on my old 400, I lost reverse first, then it started slipping, then i started loosing lo-range.
