Men it looks so far, can't wait, and yes it was fun last time and it will be better next time, I'm trying to get at least one more rider see how that comes out, we had +200 riders, lets make this even bigger.
Thank's to the hosting club in advance, they are working hard on getting this track set for this race.

The 27th does seem like it will take forever to get here.
Thanks for trying to get some more people involved Luis. The more people we can get involved the better the QS series will be.

The kids classes are growing each race! Jan 27th seems like a long time, but it will go by quick. I must say, if you like these events, you might think about doing something to promote the longevity of the hobby/sport by joing a local club. Most of them are two wheel clubs that host these events. Some of these clubs want to quit hosting them for quads. The quadders must step up or face losing this kind of quality of life. This is an old broken record about needing quadders to step up, but there is serious talk of leaving the quads to run their own series. Two wheelers saying we've ridden their coat tails long enough. Right now there are only two quad clubs. How many events can they host? Joining a club, even a two wheel club, will give you an already established base in which to work from. Yes work. Who is going to step up and make a difference? Go to the FTR main page and find clubs http://floridatrailriders.org/ftr_clubs.htm and see which one is nearest you. They say "If you build it, they will come." It has been built, we came, it will work, we have to keep it going. I know they will be out there all weekend this weekend cutting new trail. Go help if you can.

mudnuri is right, clubs can only exist if there are members and races can only happen if there are clubs. Joining a club is easy. If you are into riding or racing ATVs what could be better than being part of a group that shares the same interest you do?? Only good things can happen by organizing and banding together. See you at the races!!

Ryan561,
Come on out for the Quad Scramble even if you don't get your new suspension. Running a Quad Scramble is totally different from MX.

And a wide MX front end is no good for a Quadscramble.

This is a great piece of property and a terrific place to camp and hangout. It's a little bit of a drive for some, but it's an easy drive and def worth it. We're hoping to work on course-cutting this weekend if the weather permits, will give you a report. The quad scrambles are a blast, and you get more than your money's worth compared to an MX race.

Myself and the esteemed member "Mudnuri" were at the property last Saturday with the SAQRA folks getting a start on some trail-cutting. We laid out about 3-4 miles and they probably did the same on Sunday. This race is going to have something for everyone, from tight tree sections to wide-open pasture runs. This is a great way to see what you and your quad are made of, and get a few hours of high-quality "seat-time."

is there any water crossings ! Let me put it this way: for a couple of the water crossings you'll only get wet if you aren't going fast enough.

Help with classification!!
I am 41 years old and have been riding since 1985. I have a KFX400 with Axis shocks all around, plus 4 rear axle, plus 3 front a-arms. I am a good rider, but have never raced. What class should I be?

I would suggest you ride the Beginner 2 class (0-400cc) in your first event, to get a feel for the scrambles format. If you win the first race, they'll promote you, so don't worry about sandbagging. If you need any info just send me a PM or go to floridatrailriders.org. SAQRA will be working on the course this weekend, anyone wanna help? Mike-it's not polite to ask someone how wide they are...you gonna ride or talk?
