steering stabilizer

I'm looking to get a steering stabilizer for running the Quadscrambles, what is the best one for the price? is the precision worth the extra money and does it last longer?

if you are serious about racing and not just a one season racer. then spend the money and get a good one

I've got the precision. From what I understand the "stick style" ones wont handle the hits of XC racing for very long.

precisions go for liek 400 bucks, I picked up my denton "stick style" for baout 70 bucks, works good on the mx track, dont know how it handles the xc track

I ran a stick style one for years. In the last month I broke 2 of them. I decided to go with a Precision. I rode it for the first time today at the trails at Seminole. I never thought I would say this but "It is worth every penny." I was amazed on how it took the hard hits an kept me tracking straight. When you make a dry turn is feels like there is nothing there. No resistance at all. Today was the first time I didn't get arm pump after running 5 hard laps on the woods track. IMO if you can afford it get one. If not a stick style one is still good.

I haven't used the Precision one but have used the stick ones with success. If you're between the two maybe you should check out the dual stick ones offered by triumph motorsports (check the ad in the Dec issue of dirtwheels).

one of the differences between precision and stick, you'll have to rebuild the stick on occassion (as I understand it), depending on how often you use.  by the time you purchase and add a couple rebuilds, you're close to the cost of buying a precision...just my 2 cents
