Ocala Forest CG is nice. I've camped there when it's too hot to not have your a/c on. You can ride to the forest. Be careful on 42 though, as people fly on that road. If you have kids please please please make sure you ride right next to them.

camping is good. I have always enjoyed it. My buddies eagle scout project was to clear out some primative camping areas and I was involved so a good deal are well crafted. I don't know if thats what you are looking for but they are always a nice alternative.

THE SKORSKI'S R GOOD PEOPLE...WE HAVE CAMPED THERE SINCE THE LATE 70'S, WHEN WE WERE IN THE TAMPA BAY BUGGY CLUB AND NOW THAT WE R INTO ATV'S TOO..................I DON'T THINK YOU CAN RIDE OUT OF THERE NOW THAT THE SOUTH END OF THE FOREST IS CLOSED, BETTER CHECK IT OUT....
