3/12/05 my dad, a neighbor, and i went up to Daytona to see the AMA Superbike race and Formula Extreme race. We had pit passes, so we were right up close to all the riders, their bikes, and the pit team. They actually let us sit on pit wall and watch the race... Yes, we were RIGHT there by all the action.
Mat Mladin on the #1 Suzuki won the Superbike (1000cc race)
Miguel Duhamel on the #1 Honda (#17 in the Superbike race, placed 6th) won the Formula Extreme (600cc race)
Superbike race was about 17 laps.
Formula Extreme was 68 laps.
