But we're not dealing with terrorists in Iraq, we're in the middle of an insurgency, wrapped in a Sunni vs Shia vs Kurds civil war.

We should have kept our eyes on the prize, that being Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban, and not been distracted by the hypothetical threat of the meglomaniac Sadaam Hussein.

It's this failure in Iraq that has held us back as a country. That's why I expect Donald Rumsfeld will step down today, now that the dems are in control and have subpoena power.

Iraq is Vietnam. We over there battling other peoples war, we have the power to destroy the enemy but politians/money/greed is the barrier from ending this F'n war. I'm sure Cain will pop in here and give a 10 paragraph reason on the validity of us being over there for over 4yrs.

Yeah, Iraq had nothing to do with the twin towers coming down. They also didn't have any WMDs. So, why are we there? Oil interests for the Bush and Chaney, perhaps?
