Yeah, you can actually see in the pics that some people made contact with those trees. I hope they are okay because side swipping trees really hurts sometimes. Shocked

Wow, you must be a pro. How many of these races have you done? This race consisted of a supercross track right out of the gate, then 8 miles of tight woods mixed with some wide open straights and then the motocross track before completing one lap. There were huge rocks, big jumps, mud, trees, lots of cypress stumps, and a canal that swallowed at least one quad.  To do this for 2 hours is quite an accomplishment no matter where you finish.
Seems more and more riders from this site are starting to show up at these races. Maybe sometime we can all park together in our own ATVFLORIDA section.

2 hours? Do they have mandatory smoke breaks?  Can you pre run it?  Because I need a place to hide some beers if it's gonna be a 2 hour race.

Hah  Cheesy, You never seem to not make me laugh rico.

Chillen you couldnt say it any better, When I finished I fealt like a new person, It just wants you to really aprreciate life more too.  Like Lance Armstrong said after completing the NYC marathon this weekend "For the level of condition that I have now, that was without a doubt the hardest physical thing I have ever done," " I didn't train enough for a marathon."  That was almost the same exact thing I said after the race.  Now I want to become the best I can become.

Here are some pic's, The photographer was amazing

It was nice to see so many quads out there,  a lot of new faces, that was one of the best tracks nice combination a lil of everything, well we didn't have palmettos (who miss them any way?), but like Matt and Rad mentiopned, you have to be in a good shape if you want to be competitive, you could always ride it easy and enjoy, the "QS" series is growing I have seen some "MX" riders arround and they liked it too, so bring ti up. come on and make this even bigger.

that looks like so much fun ,but I lack the physical conditioning required for that level of riding.I wish I had the time and money to hire a personal trainer but I spend it all on soda pop and all my time working .

My son got the holeshot, but then his bike got soaked and started running like crap and he finished 4th. His bike wasnt ready for the water.

The GT thunder setup works pretty good. I dont have anything to compare it to though but I did 5 races last year on stock suspension and that was rough. It really handles well because of how much lower it sits but it also hits the belly skid a lot.
