Here's Corey, he and his boss just bought a piece of the River Ranch. Looks like the Honda is gettin winched again!  When are they gonna put a low gear in those Hondas?
My Ranger went through more mud holes than that Honda did, and with 4 people and a full cooler to boot!

Does anyone have an idea of how much you can get a small lot in River Ranch nowadays?

My dad had a couple of lots many many years ago when you could get them for a couple of hundred bucks each.  But, he sold them because he said that the hunting  wasnt all that good.

Great pics, looks like a good time!
Thanks,  Jim

jancc, I saw 1.25 acres on Ebay last week.  The bidding was up to $1600, but the reserve wasnt met-so the seller obviously wanted more than that.

What is the riding like out there.  I see lots of water and mud.  Are there any hills or trails for sport quads?

it will be up to they state if the assc. doesn't take action or those that choose to ride irresponsable don't change their ways soon. i am a deed holder myself, there r rumors already about banning atvs'at RR once somebody is seriously hurt or worse killed that will be the end i hope that those that ride atvs' at RR will help to protect our privilage to ride their. By eduction to those that abuse this PRIVILAGE . If i have offended anybody that has read this reply i would assume that u must be 1 of the guilty

Well said Meathead. I love RR and would hate to see the ATV's banned due to a few irresponsible people.
We all need to keep an eye out for the rif raf and let them know of the consequences.

I was talking with the gate keeper at RR "he said they may band sport quad if they don't slow down".

I hope the RR people handle the problem and not the state. They let anyboby ride for the $20.00 at the gate.

hey guys, wats up! im new to the forum and i was looking around and i saw this topic and got interested in what you all had to say. Anyways i go out to River ranch quite often (even though im only 15) and i listen to the adults when they talk about wats gonna happen up there. now as far as the banning of the ATV's i doubt that will happen because as someone previously said all the property is owned by someone and the state cant really do anything but it from the owners. now i have seen the game warden at the lake once or twice but i think all he was doing was making sure no one was fightin or anything of that nature. i dont mean to be rude or think i know everything but i havent heard anything about paying $20 at the gate because i heard that everyone had sort of an unwritten agreement that said and people that didnt own property had to be invited. as for the sport quads i doubt they will ban them but the riders should be more respectful during hunting seasons  (even though i ride a yfz450). oh yeah and if any of you know the big mudpit/ pond that alot of people run through STAY OFF!!!! ITS MINE!!!!! nah, im just playin but i really do own it so you best watch yourself.  [smiley=angel.gif]

peace out and RIDE ON!!!
