well its not really the bike, its more about how much endurance u have and what your riding abilty is, so if your a good rider you would probly do good, definly worth a try... QS#1 was my first race on my stock(minus redone suspension) 450r and i did pretty good(3rd in c open)

Here is a link for an update. http://www.floridaquadriders.com/public_html/message_board/showthread.php?p=7407#post7407
Anyone missing this will be sorry. Nothing like breaking in a new trail with about 200 other riders!
I know some of you MX'ers will opt out due to width. Can't say as I blame you. I know first hand how much a front end costs. Some of you MX'ers have some really sweet rides.
All you guys with utilites are welcomed and expected. So trick em' out boys!

Lets just say, 5 riders had to line up BEHIND us.

Also, randal.. Having your shocks redone isnt considered stock anymore. You have more of a advantage over someone with stock suspension.

Whos racing the QC 0-400 +16 class?

I'm in the 0-400 C class.  There were 21 riders in that class at QS#1.  It was a blast.  Course beat the living snot out of me.

Looking forward to QS#2.  I'm 34c if you make it out stop by.

Save your money for a better suspension not a pipe. I don't care how "fast" you make your machine. "Fast" will not help you an hour into a two hour race.
I learned that from #76 .
Send your rear shock to GT Thunder and for less than $400, you can have a bad arse rear to fly over the bumps. Then get some tires. Doing XC, you'd be totally wasting your money piping and jetting.  Nerd
