No, it just tends to rust ALOT easier since the water is blasted it gets into things alot easier, even @ a distance.

Dude you gotta be kidding me.  I washed it once I got it out of the box and was amazed how good it cleaned without soap and a brush.  Guess I screwed up on my Lightning......

Well if you just dont go full power, just turn down the idle and stand back some.  It can still be used just not @ close range.

you get something new and cool and everyone tells you how bad it is and not to use it. i always use a pressure washer to clean my bike and truck, as long as your not stupid its fine. its just a hundred times easier, it would take forever to clean the whole frame and all the suspension with a hose and brush espicially when its all muddy, but i wouldnt want to take a bike like yours near anything to get it too dirty - nice Smiley

maybe its just me but i hate using a pressure washer. it seems like when i did it would just splatter the mud onter another part of my bike. it was 10x's harder for me to clean it.

the only thing its good for is for tires.lol

Yeah I hate using them on anything except side walks and some other stuff.  Just seems to move the mud into a differnt place except the ground.

Gery if you want an even lazier way to do it.....(which is the method I prefer) Get yourself some liquid performance. Hose your bike down spray it on and rinse it off. You don't even have to hook up the pressure washer that way. I've got a huge hot water unit and I prefer to leave it in the trailer.
