Just returned from West Virginia. I have to say, the 15 hour ride there was well worth it!
What an incredible place. They even have an ATV bar.
LOL, one of the locals gave me a jar of moonshine when I asked where I could get a bottle of JD.
The brand new cabin with a smoking hot shower and satellite TV. $35 a head.
The Wagon Wheel. Great breakfast and plenty of beer in the coolers.
What a sight to wake up to.
Wes hill. It sure doesn't look like it is 60 degrees climb in the picture. Two years ago
my buddy Wes made it to the very top before tumbling his new Vinson 600 feet down end over end.
It is my spare parts bike now.
Dan up on top of Wes hill.
Another great climb.
The only place my phone worked.
Now much room for errors in this place.
Creek riding is the BEST! It is also COLD.
Creeks are king!!
Mike, Dan and the creek.
I can't get enough of the creek!!
Mike doing doughnuts on a large chunk of slate in the creek. This is unreal FUN!
It is unfortunate that most of the treacherous riding couldn't be photographed due to needing
both hands to stay alive, and the effects of the rough terrain on my poor old digital camera.
We had a couple of disposables that should have some insane stuff on it, including a guys brand new forty mile, 800 Sportsman that was in a little ball after tumbling down the stairsteps.
If you ever go, take a GPS!! Even with mine I got lost up on a mountain when I went out for a quick spin alone near dusk. It was worth it when I ran across a giant pair of whitetails and a flock of 50 fat turkeys. They should make one that shows elevation on the tracking screen 3D style...
What a place. I'm thinking of moving there.
