I saw a thing on TV last night talking about Good Morning America covering ATV related deaths and injuries. I went on line and saw that they are also are bring this "crisis" to the American public and the US government's attention. Its says they went undercover and pretended they where purchasing units for their kids and how the sales people said to just lie about who it was for. I have to admit I did the same thing to get the bike I wanted for my youngest.

it's a crisis of stupidity,,,,for all the "parents" that let their un-experienced kids ride quads that are too big for them,,,,,they need jailtime.

if the kids get hurt on them,,,,,not lawsuits for the injuries.

I won't mention the name of the dealer but he told me " DO NOT TELL ME THE AGE OF YOUR CHILD"

I don't think anyone should ride quads bigger than what they can control. But I still don't quite understand why the HECK a 15 year old is supposed to fit on a 90? Instead they're going to show them buying a 500 or 350 for an 8 year old. When they should be showing, more realistically, a 15 year old buying a 350 or 400. Please, the news is just a load of crap. This is why I use the internet to find out what's going on in the world.

My kids are small and have bikes for ages 6 and up. The guy new who they were for when I bought them. The parents are the ones who are responsible for their kids. Each kid is a different size and mentality.

I agree, and furthermore, I believe that a 90 is more dangerous for a 15 year old, than a bigger bike.  The average 15 year old is actually way to big for the ATV and over powers it.  Making it harder to control.

Oh, pleeeeeese! Don't make me go all Timothy McVeigh on Y'all. It's just another symptom of the current Fear and Loathing in America campaign, the wussification of our children and the ever-increasing fanatical desire for us to protect us from ourselves. Mommy can ram her friggin' car into the back of your's, killing and maiming thousands per year(including children). But, that's simply called an accident.
