hey everyone, I'm thinking about purchasing a 2005 honda 450r. I was wondering if there is any drawbacks or things that need to be changed on them.

I would have to say that the suspension is alot more plush on a honda then compared to the yamaha. The 450r's engine seems to always pull. I may think about about a R in the future, but if you come across a great deal, I say go for it.

 im gonna go check it out friday. the atv is an 05 450r w/ 6 pack rack, and protaper bars for a little under 4k

awesome bikes my friend has the 05 and i have an 06 .they are fast and handle excelent ,I just got a Alba exhaust kit and it sounds so sick on it And know it just plain hauls a$$ Grin
