Dave, you know I like the Hump and I know that place better than most people. The last clean up I saw out there was horrible.... few people pick up and the rest throw stuff on the ground next to the people pick up trash. Picking up 10 bags of trash is just a weekend of trash out there. lets make trash can out of plastic 55gal drums and write atvflorida on them and see if people pick up after them self.

First of all. we do not take bottles out on rides. strictly cans. bottles break in the coolers. second of all we pick up after ourselves everywhere we ride. if you don't know me or ever ridden with me you should learn before you open your mouth to imoly something that isn't true.

ISH no one was accusing you in general.....i think everyone who rides out there is to blame.....now we know we carry garbage bags when we ride...but..there is alot of young ppl that go out there to party...and i seen them dump bottle when they finish with it...and most of the time...is not ppl who rides out there...is ppl who spectate and watch the 4x4 do there thing on the other side...they are the one i have seen with my own 2 eyes dumping stuff there..............

ISH I wasnt accusing you and family for the trash out there. I just state how many bottle and trash are out there and the reason there are going to close the Hump. its going to take more than a one time clean up out there.  Thanks eworm Wink

I for one know, for a fact that the parties involved in this thread do not go riding with bottles and do indeed pick up after themselves. Also, I doubt Big daddy was implying that the bottle under the quad was your crews doing (Ish's and Geo's crew). The fact is that, we all need to keep that place as clean as possible. As for the trash being thrown while the clean up was happening last time, I had a can on my wheelie bar that fell off. I picked it up. So, when is the clean up? One thing I did notice is that when going to the actual humps from the speedway on the dirt roads, you should try and not go by the southern most way on that dirt road right behind the new houses. Try going on the a road south of that.

Yes there are. I was there about 2 weeks on a Friday at about 1AM and boy, there was a lot of things going on out there as far as partying. Young kids mostly. Don't get mad, I am not saying all young kids do this.

tHIS SAME PROBLEM EXSISTS IN THE GROVES. iF LAW ENFORCEMENT WOULD CONCENTRATE MORE ON THE NIGHT ACTIVITIES AND UNDERAGE DRINKING IN THE WOODS OVER 3/4 OF THE TRASH WILL DISAPEAR. I'LL GET SOME PICS AT THE GROVES TODAY, YOU'LL BE DISGUSTED JUST LIKE I AM. I LIKE THE THRASH CAN IDEA, THING IS IN THE GROVES IF IT'S NOT A TREE AND DEOSN'T MOVE IT GETS BURNED OR RUN OVER.

the problem at the hump is the night time activities, there are about 200 people out there on a friday night, half of them arent riding anything, they are watching. the hanging out is whats making the mess. no cops is gonna bust the night crowd and not the day crowd.  there just  gonna shut it down thats all.  the other problem out there is the vandalizing of vehicles.  a clean up is a good idea but it would have to be often.   and for those of you who ride with your families i would not take them out there at night. its a really non-family crowd of people.
