2004 Polaris 600 Sportsman

Running great one minute, then it started running bad and bogging down at about 20 mph.  In neutral revs ok sometimes, even in neutral it will bog at about 1500 rpms.  Took carb off and cleaned, same result, still bogs down, changed plugs to NGK, any thoughts on if it could be coil and or stator? Thanks in advance

Sounds like you have an air problem somewhere , Check your Carb Vent line , Fuel cap Line , and Airfilter for debris....Then check to see that you do not have a massive leak in your exhaust or airbox..too much air could bog you down as well...either way let us know

friend of mine had that same problem on his 400 but it got to the point is would even start no matter what u did. they cleaned the carb, air filter and even the fuel filter but nothin fixed it. he took the carb off and there is two jets in it one that come out the main jet and another that cant come out dont know the name. and it was the smaller jet that was dirty and couldnt get any fuel through it. if u have never cleaned the air filter or swamped the fourwheeler several times thats the problem or it could be the valves need to be adjusted. also Polaris is GIT R DONE

Tried everything, I can't figure it out.  Gave up and took it to a local dealer hoping they could hook it up to a diagnostic to see how the coil and or cdi were functioning.  Of course they said they were too busy to check it for me and I had to leave it there.  I hope its just the coil or something cheap

Try this. I learned this from the owner of Best Buy Vehicles Victory/Polaris in Fort Pierce. Great place BTW. I just bought a new 500 EFI and immedieatly it bogged as I was trying it out. He adjusted the throttle kill switch linkage. This is a nut just below the thumb switch. You may want to wiggle that cable or adjust that nut under the boot. Jim adjusted mine and the bog went away. Just a thought.
