Yea, my bad.. I looked it up and found out that the inner core of the earth is only like 3100 miles away. So my local news has to be seriously wrong. Hope so cause were gonna need a china proof pipe.. Wink

yea i would say they were a lil wrong. 30,000 miles would be like the moon or something.

i think it only takes like 52,000 miles to travel round the world.
The circumference of the earth at the equator is 24,901.55 miles.

I had a big topic on gas prices but I cant find it. Anyway noticed that gas is down to like 2.60 a gallon on my exit. But diesel is still almost 3 bucks. But I heard that its supposeted to be 2dollars by thanksgiving. Dont know about that but just wanted to know if everybody is having the same luck.

well we can only hope that the price of fuel is on the decline seeing as how the minimum wage isn't going to go up anytime soon ! I try to be some what optomistic about this situation seeing as how my Excursion only gets 10 miles to the gallon !  Angry

It's weird how gas prices are coming down since there are elections this year Shocked
It's nice though my Silverado SS only gets 16mpg, when I bough gas was only $1.65 or so

Nobody I've talked to was able to get what I am about to say. As you know from 5th grade science, oil is NON-RENEWABLE!!! This means once its used up (so far about 3/4ths of it is gone) it is gone forever, or for a thousand years or so. Anyway, what I mean is gas will be gone soon, or will keep rising in price (ya know when things get rarer they are more money, right) untill it is so high no normal person could afford it. So, my point is we have been using gasoline powered engines that destroy the enviroment for almost a hundred years, dont you think we need a change? People will have to think ahead if we want to continue living on this planet.

I just thought this would give some people a chance to think know gas wont be around forever and people somehow think that it will.

well gas is on its way down in sarasota i payed $2.32 for regular unleaded and for warriordude: if you watched the news they found oil in the gulf which they will be able to get up in the next few years... we are gonna be in good shape for a while the radio was talkin about by the end of the month supposidly gas should be $1.90-$2.20 which is awesome if it is true but that is again just the radio...
