the drain is towards the back of the motor. the bolt is sideways, the head of the bolt faces directly back, yeah i know its weird confused me at first to.

is it on the pull start side,or foot brake side,or the side that has no foot brake.and what do i need to take off.thanks

middle. look underneath the rincon, towards the veryback of the plastic skid plate. like i said the head of the bolt faces back. nothing to take off, you can see the bolt head. drain hole faces back. there is a "dent" up in the skid plate where the bolt is. when you look youll see it, just look for the part of the skid that goes up. if you have your owners manual, it explains it pretty good in there. let me know if that helps
