Just wondering how many members on this site have camped and ridden there. The deal is you pay to camp, pay $10 for every thing with a motor on it. You can ride around the campground at 9.5 miles per hour. You can also go out the front gate and head down to a overflow area to ride around in circles. Depending on the time of year, depends on the type of riding in the overflow. Any personal opinions or experiances while you were there. Just curious.

You know a few year ago, Peace River was awesome.  You could night ride, you could ride at the overflow.  You had the river right there, it was a really nice weekend.  The night rides where the best! But now with all the rules that are our there, it's just not worth it too me.  Don't get me wrong, few years ago, we used to have a blast, but it just aint the same anymore.  We used to go up there with quite a few people and it was really fun.

If you asked me they ruined it....

If they dredged the overflow area, where do they go to ride? Imagine charging someone to ride, and then sending them out the gate to ride on Water Managements property. What a deal.

We used to go there also back in 2003.
After Hurricane Charlie We volunteered in the campground, it was messed up pretty good, we brought our 4 wheelers in and dragged trees for them.

Yes I believe they do not allow ATV's anymore, it's a shame  Sad It was a nice place to take kids.

Thats funny about the volunteering, my husband went up there and help them move campers and stuff after Charlie.  It's a small world...

You and I will probably meet one day, and be like, hey I know you..... lol

I went there for a spring break maybe 3 years ago, fun time, but riding was not all so fun, speed limit was strictly enforced. Found alot of shark teeth though

We went a couple of years ago, I had a great time riding, there wasn't much speed limit enforcing when I was there.  Oh well....
