Definatly a plan !!!!! There are alot of issues that need to discussed and voted on before any races start !
Now, correct me if I am wrong, we are still doing everything on a majority rules the vote, correct?!?!?!?
This would also be a good time ( after the meeting, and all things are discussed) for some of you to pay for the membership dues, as it is gonna be needed for the timing system to get ordered.
The next dues will not be due until, one year after the first race is held. But we still need to collect all we can to order the timing system

if this is going to be a club, then we need to elect some officers and if their is a banking account it needs to be established with 2 signatures required. every clud i know of is majority votes, president splits the tie. now we are all going to turn into dirty politicians....

I would agree thats about half way, with a place to eat at anyway !!!
I would also have to agree with Smoke on the elected officials too !!
We are gonna have alot of things to cover , so lets try to handle this in a "professional" manor and get things done. Then we can play, tell jokes, slap Jeff, etc.etc.

with that what classes are they going to be able to run in? E.T. or all classes cause like you said they could run cub motors or cheeta motors which would put them in the outlaw class. Me personally am not gonna race against 13 yr old kid in the outlaw class and I'm sure I'm not the only one that's gonna say that. Anybody racing takes a risk when you pull up to the line but I'm not going to have an added risk wondering if the kid next to me is gonna take me out. Hell Chris crossed lanes at the track couple of weeks ago at the tnt when it finally hooked! lets hear some other opinions! people don't be scared to speak up now. It's important things like this that needs to be cleared up before we start to race! Am I just being overboard sounds to me like someone don't want to get beat by a kid ! Not any kid is going to have a outlaw bike .I think if the parents spend the money on a outlaw bike ....they feel the kid can ride it ! You take a bigger risk driving to work everyday !13 and up seems fair to me . |
