i just talked to cr motorsports park and we need your guys feed back on some issues. we are tring to find a way to bring in money to buy somethings the track will need. the park owner had said to me that maybe a club we can start at the track. the fee to be apart of the track and the club could pay for lights and anything else the track would need. also some of the money could go to points money. this guy really wants this track to get big and in order for that we need your feed back. i think the classes will be 350 stock 350 prostock 350 mod 550 below outlaw 551 above outlaw i am thinking the gate fee will 15.00 and the stck classes 15.00 to race the outlaw will be 25.00 to race. what do you guys think

I have noticed an increase in ATV clubs on the internet here in Florida.
I always thought it would be cool if a track owner would allow some of these clubs to use the track for a small fee on a "slow night" or a night when they're not usually open.
Something like reserving the track for a closed practice if you knew you were getting a certain amount of riders. Maybe like once a month or something, so the ATV clubs could ride and have their meetings at a track.
Just an idea.

Jeff, that sounds kinda like what Chris ware, and his bros, had set up In Ocala. Try to get in touch with him or Fastrnrick, he is the new owner of the track in Ocala. He might be able to answer some questions for you on the club thing !!!

You banshee guys never think of anyone else. Those are all banshee classes. You need at least 2 four stroke classes. Where would you put an old guy on a 250 three wheeler.......Git it RAG. Will it be heads up Saltsdale style?

if you would go back and read you would see i had said four stroke guys too. i think a guy with 3 wheels and being old is alright in my book. the club i think is a great ideal. THE BIG QUESTION IS WHAT SHOULD BE THE FEE FOR A YEAR MEMBERSHIP? this money will go for lights and everything we need for the track. i was also going to make the payout 80% and 20% would go to the club.

yes it will be heads up racing. also think about that fee for the club real hard. the lighting system alone is around 5000.00. i am not saying the fees should have to be real high to pay for it because i hope we can get alot of it from some local companys. me and don talked about building a tower so if anyone would like to help us let us know. i will be looking into hey bails for the track also if anyone knows where i can get a good price. any feed back is great

Chillin, there will be four stroke classes, and we can make a class for an old fart on three wheels !!!!!! All of you four stroke guys need to throw your input out there on what would be "fair" as far as classes go. We dont want to be chaging the classes constantly, set them and they stay that way. Jeff is trying to keep this as SIMPLE as possible. As far as the "club"goes, If the membership pays for the lights, The lights will stay with the club if some thimg goes wrong with the track !!!!

I dont have a problem either with any of the numbers also. I think some people will have a problem with it. We all want this sport to continue. We have been running asphault alot just do to the fact there isn't any sand drag tracks open locally. The lights are problably the most expensive thing to buy with the timing system. I feel that a membership will show us who wants this sport to grow and continue here.

Exactly !!!!, If someone has a problem with a membership fee, look at it as a small investment towards our racing addiction. Most peaple spend way more than that on crap . Chris ware made a good point to me, that with a club status, other places would do a pay-out to have the club put on a show at there facility !!

Hey Cut hay is alot softer then tires. I rather hit a hay bail than a rubber truck tire with steel belts in it. Get what I am trying to say.

I agree, hay would be a SOFTER hit, but we would have to figure out a way to keep the bales from coming apart !!! I grew up on a farm, and the strings always rot and the bale then falls apart

i particularly don't plan on finding out how soft or hard it is....if your gonna hit it, it won't matter wheather it is hay or gaurd rail, it is going to hurt. trust me 25mph into a hay bail feels like 25 mph into a gaurd rail. let's get ur dun. i would like to see the membership be around 50 or less.
