Fan Question ~?

Why is there 10 blades on the Polaris 6x6 radiator fan, and only 5 on the sportsman 700? also is the fan motor size different? would either fan work for the Sportsman 700?

If the shrouds mount up the same, then you are golden.

But if you are looking to replace it because you are overheating.. Spray out your radiator realllllly good.

Is there a Air Flow Difference or Motor Size Difference between the 10 blade fan and the 4 blade do you know?

I would think since the polaris 6x6 has 10 blades becuase it requires more power to turn all 6 tires, hence, overheating more often.
If the mount is the same, and It fits in the small space I guess the can be interchangable, But if polaris didnt put a 10 blde fan in the 700 I think they had a reason for doing so.

Thats what I figured, I had a 4 blade for a reason.. Id like to know which one actually flows more air..
