having problems with the yfz, wont start, no feed back when i hit the start button. battery is charged....im thinking that its electrical....any ideas? thanks

i cant see why not, but its not the battery. im thinking wires  Angry im going to have to have my mechanic come take a look at it....53yfz450  Tongue

Try tightening the bolts that hold the wires onto the battery.

ill try that but i doubt that is it, im getting no feed back when i hit the start button. im thinking its all wiring...maybe somthing to do with the rezister kit....like i said, i have no clue lol

that wasnt it....my kit is fine, unless its the wire for it, or maybe a different one. but theres nothing wrong with it  Undecided ya thanks you to....to bad about the crash in the 1st moto...that was pretty bad, it looked cool though  Tongue

yes plenty of times

no i did not but i think we know what it is, my kill switch was ghetto riged and i guess the wire that goes to the coil wasnt touching how it was suppose to, and that caused a short  Angry thats what i think it is...

does anyone know where i can get a diagram for the wiring of the yfz, im trying to take my kill switch off and re connect the coil wires or whatever but im not sure which one it goes to?  Huh

im not going to do anything to mess it up any more than it already is, im just trying to find the wire that wire to take the kill switch out  Wink

Mine did that and it was my wiring harness. Yamaha had to replace it for me. Hopefully it is your kill switch. Mine also recently went bad as well.

figured it out, it was my relay assembly, which is good, an easy fix  Grin
