Hope not a dumb female question, but I have a kawi 360 4x4 and I heard that there is possibly an aftermarket Belt for this ATV.  I have only gotten it wet once, but once was enough.   Wink Dried out in about 30 minutes -  Does any one make an aftermarket belt w/better grip?

Also does the orginal belt have groves, (kind of like a harley) or are they slick like a standard belt.

Would appreciate any feedback, esp w/those who have belt-driven ATV's.

I totally love this ATV - just have some concerns w/belt...  thans  Nerd

My grizzly had grooves. I went 4thousand miles on my original factory belt.. The only thing that I found that stopped my belt getting wet was to snorkel the belt intake

Thanks for the reply, perhaps I will try that, but will have to wait until warranty is out.

I dont know how well you know the service department at your dealer.. But most of them give you the run around when you bring it for warranty work.. They will tell you that its not factory defect and make it seem as if you were abusing the quad.. I have had that happen on my bayou 220 when the transmission went out with less than a year and a half on it. Probably the reason I opted not to get the service plan/extended warranty with my YFZ450.

But call them up and ask them what you can do to your bike.. I did when I started modding my YFZ and the only thing they said would void the warranty would be the aftermarket CDI box.

Also, when I brought my grizzly in for the heat shield for the factory recall, I had my bike fully snorkeled and they didnt say a word.
