I have done mine once already on my Raptor 660, pretty simple....... I asked a tech. the same question your asking and he said about every 50 hours, and your fine.... But mine you just adjust using the feeler gauge, some of the "newer" bikes you have to buy a shim kit for them... I dont know what bike you have, or how you have to adjust them but it's not to hard if you just have to adjust them to the right clearences (sp?) with the feeler gauge, if you have to do it the shim way, I don't know... Good Luck

I have a raptor 700 and I luckily dont need a shim kit. Only 4 valves to check and adjust with a feller gauge, everyone says the hardest part is taking everything off (gas tank, fenders). Im right around 50 hours right now so I should be ready, just have to try to convience my dad its not too hard, he thinks its rocket science
