Great bike for the track, I have a friend who would kick my @ss at the track on his 300 ex, even though his main ride is an r lol.
You can ride any bike at the track, just ride to your ability.

Would it be okay to race a Rancher at the track? lol Just wondering. And as for the 300ex, if you're a good rider it'd be okay I'd think.

Race whatever you want. If you brought a $20,000 custom quad out there, there's always going to be someone faster or better. Maybe not today, but it happens. That's racin'.
