Have you tried calling the cops, if you go to your local police dept/sheriffs office and present all/any paperwork regarding this transaction they will contact his local police dept. Let them deal with it, a visit from the sheriff/felony theft arrest would probably be all the motivation he needs to complete the transaction.
I am not sure what county you live in, but I know for a fact that our police dept in Madison handle it this way.

Sorry to hear about that. I've had a similar thing happen. I used to live in Ohio. I was just up there last weekend. Too bad I didn't have his info while I was there!!!! 330 area code is around the akron area. I doubt that helps much.

Are you sure that is the right address before someone innocent gets all their personal info blasted on the internet it  When you do a reverse look up it comes back under a different name. I understand what you are trying to do really I do..I am not knocking ya for that. The guy who did this needs to pay Mike back.
