Dirtwheels said maybe well see it by late summer... It is supposed to be a new quad from the ground up and nothing to do with the R450... looks pretty cool in the sneak peeks if you ask me.

yea i will give them credit. but ive also hear they just don't match up   in the power  liek the other 450's as far as a race quad yes by far its better because of  handling and stuff but if kawasaki builds  the chassis and everythign like suzuki did and  put  the same or more power as  the honda and yamaha out of the box then kawasaki  will have bettered the suzuki honda and  yamaha wouldn't they ?

I think it's going to be a cross country quad with the reverse. I personally don't feel the LTR has near as much power as a YFZ or 450R, but the only one I've ridden on a track only had a cherry bomb, no lid or baffle, I bet the pipe makes a big difference though.

your supose to say it compares fine you own one lol. and just because it has revers  don't mean it will be a  xc bike the  z400 and kfx 400 both have reverse. they are just  addin a creature comfort  for slackers like me. even when the mags tested the  ltr 450 they said it lacked  in power but made up in  handling

Yeah just another selection to make you think harder for your purchase...but thats good. Ive also heard that it lacks in power, but idk, i havent riden one.  Good point with the reverse, raptor 700 has it and I use alll the time.  Thats a smart move.  And the aluminum chasis, thats would be great, alot light i would think
