Whats the plan of action if they don't follow through with their promise?  They don't have much more time do they?

I spoke with Clarence Tears on Wednesday, he's the director for the SFWMD down here. He said " that there should be an announcement made soon" . He also told me the area that they are looking at will have back country camping, a parking area , and that we could possibly help in the design of this area. However, he could not really give me specifics. I for one, am planning on filing a law suit in small claims court. It's only 50.00. I will keep everyone posted as i come accross info....We can not let our guard down. UNfortunately they only understand when we put pressure on them. If anyone here has a lawyer friend, please PM me. I found a clause on the Master recreation plan that i think we can use, but this will now take money on everyone's behalf. The funny thing is we have about 5000 users on this website alone. If we would each donate 5.00 @ month(the cost of one lunch) that would equal 25000.00 a month we could raise to start a lawsuit, and possibly win. Any takers???

Instead of small claims can we do a Class Action?  I'm only asking cause I don't know law.

Hi. If we do a class action law suit, it will take a lot of money. When the everglades sportsman club?? sued the park service over the trails in big cypress, that ended up costing 120K. With a small claims suit, it's only 50.00, but if 1000 of us sue, then i dont know what happens. I believe that we have the ability and should start a 5.00 a month law fund. There are 5,000 users on the site alone X 5.00 = 25,000 @ month, thats 300,000 a year to use to save our riding areas, not just for us, but for generations to come. We have to wait to see whats going to happpen, supposedly there wil be an announcement made?? i'll beleive it when i hear it. For the record, I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO TRUST IN ANY GOVENMENT AGENCY INVOLVED IN THE PICAYUNE DESTRUCTION PROJECT.

No more Badluck, according to yesterday's meeting in Collier County another area is in the works for us to ride.  It may take over a year for us to ride in the selected land.  keep reading post for updates.
