Ebay and hot parts??

Hey guys, in reference to Ebay. I always look for parts when I need them there because of the good deals and when I see or hear of something local getting stolen I look in the papers and there. Anyway there is a guy in texas that has over 2400 used atv parts on ebay. Now I am not accusing anyone. BUT! out of all these parts he doesn't have one serialized "traceable" frame. NOT ONE!~ out of all those bike no frames are good??, also he only has cases or lower ends that would be tracable with numbers for the lower end smaller cc quads. Does this sound just a LITTLE BIT SHADY to anyone else but me?? here is a link to his ebay store. He also has ALLOT of neg feedback. Let me know what you think? All these quads getting lifted are going somewhere!

I purchased a strut from him and had no problems, I even called out there at the toll free number and emailed them with no problems. His feedback is 97% which is not bad considering that he has a total of 6200 people that has left feedback on him. If I had sold that many parts, then I am sure someone that could not pay me would leave bad feedback on me also. Not saying that you could be onto something there about the serial number thing, but I do not beleive 148 members leaving negative feedback is bad when you have when you have 6,188 that has given positive feedback. He has a total of 8,420 feedback and 8,030 of it was positive.

Sport, How many frames does he have and how do you know they don't have serial numbers? If sports original statement is accurate then Something sounds fishy to me.
As far as the feedback. Regardless of the amount of transactions, 400 negative feedbacks is a lot.

If you go to his ebay store and search frame he has none. I just wanted some opinions because there has to be someone some where with a crapload of used parts for the number of atv's being stolen. I can't help but think that a big part of it is organized because they have to have a place to fence something that they steal unless they are stealing for there own stuff. Either way WE ALL MUST continue to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity. I myself for those that don't know me am layed up healing and have been for a while. I constantly look here and on some othe sites to see whats stolen where. Then with a few mouse clicks I check the papers and ebay to see if anything shows up. I'm just trying to do my part ,as small as it may be to keep my eyes pealed
for those who chose to take what isn't thiers and WE work our butts off for. BTW below is a link listing every online newspaper in florida where you can search the classifieds.
Good luck all

I felt the same way when I went to look for my Recon.
It does seem shady. The part about the frames is what set me off. How could this be, I wondered? All these parts and no frames. It's hard to imagine a perfectly good quad being taken apart and sold on the internets.( Bush humor )
Then again thieves and lazy people think differently.

Here are links to the newspapers in georgia and alabama. Might and could be the bikes are leaving the state.

I think the industry standard for complaints is 98% - 99%. Sport you could be on to something.

The feedback really wasn't the issue but only a clue to how he may be doing business. When I was managing 2 large local tire and repair shops if I had 400 pissed off customers I would have been out of a job. I only have 310 feedbacks on ebay but mine is 100% positive. Its just customers service. The main issue was where are all these bikes coming from to be dismantled and parted out.

I know not to long ago there was a guy that was working at Cycle Riders in Longwood .. We repaired the bikes and while they where in for repair he would make a spare key ... then get there address and go and steal the bikes/atvs/ whatever strip them and throw the frames into a lake .... Well needless to say he got caught dumping some frames .. got charged and I think they found like 100+ frames in that lake off of the bridge he was throwing them off of ... This was on the news not even a year ago , so that could answer your question .
