No I don't like it better than  my 250R, but I have to get a production quad.

I am definately still getting used to it. It will be a few rides before I am comfortable. It wasn't awful but I just wasn't at home on it yet. I think I will be fine in a few weeks. Going 4 stroke is a big difference.

I got it with a TC motor and pipe on it. It also has Axis shocks and a-arms, after-market swing-arm, axle and stuff. I will be putting a Rossi Engineering pipe on it and sending out the shocks to Noleen as soon as possible. The engine I will leave alone until it blows then have Mike dig in and see what it's made of.

Once you get used to the 4 stroke you will think the 2 strokes are junk. I was very skeptical at first myself. I had a 250R for many years. When I bought my 450R, I kept my 250R for a while. After I started riding it like a 4 stroke and not like a 2 stroke I starting liking it. I know I've definitely gotten fast on the 4 stroke. I'm sure you will really like it in time. Especially when you notice you are faster. Good luck with it.

Melissa- what happened?  After cracking into my Yamaha y'all realized that it amazingly enough still ran after the bad shape she was in.  That no other bike would still be running in the same condition?  So you converted to the dark side.

I'm surprised Mike let you buy a Yamaha and post pics of it.  Very nice bike!

Cry

Id@

ps: how's your arm?
I went to the doctor yesterday. They X-Rayed it. All the screws are fine. When you put that much force on your arm, riding hard, the bone naturally flex's a little. The titanium plate doesn't and the front edge of the plate is rubbing on the bone causing the pain, but it won't hurt anything for now. He said that in the off season when I can go 6 weeks with no races to call him and schedule surgery because the plate should come out if am going to continue to race.
