We plan on going down this weekend to Delancey. Can anybody tell me what is the best campground of the 2 there and if you're allowed to ride out from it.

This is the so called new area where the ATV trails and all are correct? Is it a problem to get a site if you come Sat. morning? Is the campground better than scrub? Last time we went to scrub I had to jack my camper up about 2 feet because of the incline. We come from Jax so at least it's a shorter ride for us.

Go to Lake Delancy, but you are only allowed in the Western part of the campground.  The Campground is much better then Big Scrub, as it sits in the trees.  You can ride out of this area.  It depends on the weather as to how crowded it will be.  This is going to be one of the new trailheads for the new system.

Lake delancey campground is approx 3 miles west of hwy 19 on forest road 75 located just north of salt springs. The new trail system is still being put in alot of the flat marker posts are in but no markings on them as of yet.

Mark,

The trail markers were authorized last Thursday, and I would not be surprised if many are not already on the posts.
