Well guys i am looking very seriously at a truck right now. Here are the details on it followed by pic.
1994 FORD F150 4x4 XLT Extended Cab Deep Metallic Green, 6 bed, 141k miles, 302, 5sp, cold a/c, cruise control, tilt, brush guard, sunvisor, sliding rear window, tonneau cover, bedliner, dual tanks, hitch, 31 BFG All Terrains. Never lifted. Excellent condition. Clear Title. Must sell this month(May). $4500 or best reasonable offer!

This is a response to my email.
"Here is a picture of the truck that's for sale.  The truck runs great - I've had it for a little over a year - I bought it originally from a local dealer who had
it all checked out  / etc before I bought it.  I personally haven't taken it "mudding" or any hard-core off roading, but I have made sure that the
transfer case (manual) and 4x4 stuff was used at least once a month.  The hubs are manual.  From what I can tell I don't see any signs that the
truck has been wrecked.  I asked the dealership where I purchased the truck, and they said they didn't think that it was wrecked either.  The
engine appears to be all original, but the transmission looks new.  I haven't had to replace anything since I've owned the truck. I have used only
as a second vehicle.  It's a nice truck Smiley  I can take more pictures if need be.  Let me know.  Oh, it has dual exhaust with what sound like
Flowmaster mufflers and 2.5" chrome exhaust tips.. it sounds awesome !
Thanks,
Jeff"

Tell me what yall think, i will be getting more pics soon.

Have Yunt,Swampdonkey or someone run a carfax on it. Looks nice and it looks to be a great first truck. You can put a 8 inch lift and some 38's on it with what you have left over.

It was in a rear end accident back in 99 but must have not been serious. No airbag deployment or frame damage.

Here is the truck idling. Grin

In order for something to rust it must get wet first. I would check all of the bolts and if they're rusted then the truck has been flooded most likely.

I was wondering why the engine acceroie bolts had rust on them also the alt  smog pump I think the ac comp looked like it was wet by the pitting on them...Huh??

Just keep in mind with all the hurricanes/floos last few years there are alot WET cars out there for sale! Check for titles in states like alabama, tenn, georgia.Sometimes peole will take a title that was totalled & re-register them in those states..

Good Luck

If the truck lived near salt water, that would cause a similar issue.  Just the salt in the air can cause things to pit and rust.

look at the rust on the brake booster and master clutch pump bolts.
and aluminum oxide on the alternator, ac compressor and throttle body.
i realize its an 94 but what yo see is a telltale sign of what you dont.

lmk, if your serious about the truck do yourself a favor and look under the truck for more signs of rust. also stick your head underneath the dash and check for rust as well.
it would suck to get your dream truck only to find out its a nightmare.

good luck
