Ok folks. We are starting to see what little areas we do have left being shutdown one by one. We need to be heard and in a loud way. US Fish and Wildlife along with the Army Core of Engineers have locked us out of a lot of areas, and it wont be just us, but just about every other user group. I want to start a phone call campaign into the US REPS that are on the Appropiations committee and ask them NOT TO FUND A SINGLE EVERGLADES RESTORATION PROJECT IN FLORIDA. If they dont have the money, they cant do the projects. Then i want to hold a demonstration in front of the US fish office in WPB, then another one in front of the Army core of engineers in Jacksonville and lastly finish in Tallahasee. This will take effort, time and money on everyones part. Let me know what you guys think of this, then we can start throwing some dates around. Meanwhile, check out the website WWW.ABOUTTHEGLADES.COM

Please let all your friends know and lets start calling and e-mailing as much as we can. It's very important that senator Bill Frist hears from us...Let's turn the tide folks....
