I am looking for somewhere around a 6x12 single axle trailer with a weight capacity of at least 3000 lbs OR a 6x14 or 16 tandem axle trailer with at least (2) 3500 lb axles...

I tried to e-mail James from Tainted PaintWorks but e-mail bounced back...

I checked with one of many local trailer shops and they want somewhere around $1500 for a trailer like this.. I am looking to spend around $1000 or so..

Anyone know where i can look for a used one, or even someone who builds trailers...

E-mail is Ynot0323@aol.com

THANKS,
Tony

I believe it is around 750 I know I can move it around yard the pretty easy by my self. It seems real nice, I know the axle weight might be a little lighter than you want but they might have a 3500 pound axle trailer for a little more. i only needed to carry about 1200 so this was fine for me

I have a 5x14 single 3500# axle trailer and love it.

It fits behind the truck, so if your mirrors don't hit anything, the trailer won't. Going down narrow dirt roads is easy with this one. The tires go where the truck tires go.

I drive two utes on with room for coolers, gas cans , etc.

Best of all it only weighs 750#.

Moose, what brand is your trailer ?

It's an EZ Pull, they're made in Citrus County.

I think others make that size also.

I just like the way this guy finishes off his trailers. He grinds off all the sharp corners, uses good trailer tires & wheels, and good lumber on the floor. Could use a better paint job though, guess I'll do that.

Thanks a lot Moose, i will look into all the different companies.. Like i stated my trailer shop down here wants WAY too much $$ for such a small trailer.. And then they want to charge extra for a drop gate...

I am going to see what Playboy_400 has and what $$ he is asking, and probably just get that, since its local...

THANKS,
Tony

Trailers cost more now than when I got mine. Fuel prices are the biggest culprit, as with the rise in cost of many other items. I will stop by and see what the guy wants now, and post it. Just to see the change here.
