THANKS FOR THE ADVICE, BUT I DO NOT KNOW WHERE THE GOVERNOR IS. I REMOVED EXHAUST PIPE HOPING TO FIND A RESTRICTIVE PLATE OF SOME KIND, BUT COULD NOT FIND ANY. I REMOVED THE END TIP OF MUFLER, BUT THAT DID NOT HELP ANY, JUST MADE LOUDER AND HARDER TO START.

Don't know too much about govenors but it's probably on or near the thumb thorttle. Usually it's a bolt with a nut. Take it completely out or it could be where the cable goes into the carb. Hope this helps. -Mark

Get online and look up Kool Kidz Atv.com. They can sell you an unlimited CDI box & you will get it to about 20mph, after that tell them you want a 32tooth rear sprocket & you will get it to about 30-32mph.  Oh yeah, after that get a UNI pod filter & main jet at 100. You also may have a spacer on the cvt which can be removed & an air restrictor in the pipe. Any time you give more air though you must get more fuel flowing by increasing jet size. I can make that a 40mph quad for under $400. You have a great machine dont get discouraged, it will run a lot better with small mods. Get the rev limiter asap though, it is night & day.

DO NOT  take out any air restrictors unless you have a lot of time to start replaceing main jets. Get the no limit CDI 1st!!! Then get the 32t rear sprocket!!! 2 easy bolt ons & it will scare you. Anybody who thinks "50's are ripoffs" should ride my sons. He beat a raptor 80 & a kfx80 on the kids practice track at SandMountain. I have not jetted or done any head/piston work at all. It takes about 45 minutes to change the rev limiter & sprocket & your son will crap his pants the first time he cracks that throttle wide open. TRUST ME.

Good input, ive got the 90 and will do just as youve said. Already jetted and baffle removed, used stok filter for a pattern and cut my old twin air to fit. Will get the cdi and sprocket.  Grin
