Quad32x,

How does that 300 GasGas compare to a 250R? I have heard they put out good power stock. Does it handle well? I never got a chance to talk to gasgas man much and then he got hurt. I didn't get to see what happened I just saw the yellow flag and came around and saw him on the ground. Man that is some nasty looking bruises you have I hope its better than it looks. Anyways, see yall on the 13th.

It  seems  to  have  good  power  stock  but  alittle  work  and  WOW !  It  handles  good  with  a  different  set  of  a-arms.  In  stock  form  its  to  tall  in  the  front.  Im  sure  he  will  be  back  by  next  race.  Told  me  hes  going  to  invest  in  some  body  armor.  I  said  aint  that  what  your  fat  for ?  Wink Laugh

Sure thing Brian, (Bandit350)

I promise you'll see some good racing. All the guys in the Open Expert ride HARD. Just what I need to get ready for The Nationals in August. I am in bad shape and towards the end the guys are closing on me. BUT, I am training again so we'll see how I do next time out. Wink

P.S. I wish you had kept that Banshee I would love to take it out to play in the Open class that bike Flew and I got the weight to get it to hook. Thumbs Up

Durham, NC and Virginia?? Why can't they be any closer?? We just got back from Durhamtown in Ga, my fuel bill driving was $300 plus the campground plus food plus race fuel...this hobby is expensive. Maybe we could all pitch in on a bus, split some cost etc...

 Scott,
I noticed the National series has a cash payout of 80%. How does that work?  What size is the Birch Creek track in Va?

well unfortunatly due to the rise in everything.......fuel, materials and such my buisness is being greatly affected. the job prices are going up and people are not wanting to pay for things they dont need. they will pay for things they have to have but right now they are watching their money. so this is causing me to have to call it quits for a while Sad i just bought an enclosed trailer and everthing so my family could come up to all these races and stay the night. we had a blast but after my vacation this coming week i wont be able to go anywhere until these substaniated price gouging rich people give us a break Sad the 4 hour drive one way aint cheap.

so i agree with fastlefturn............this is getting real expensive real quick. you guys that live close and can still afford to go i wish you all luck and please race safe.

Dave,

Yeah that what I was thinking we could bring Team Thunderbowl up in a rented BIG RV and split the costs of everything between all of us so it would be cheap(er). Then someone else with a big trailer could maybe carry everyones bikes, tools etc with a pickup following the RV. North Carolina isn't really THAT far away and we could even rent some cheap motels if everyone gets sick of the RV.

I didn't know that there was a %80 payback but man I guess that purse money sure would come in handy to pay for the trip. I don't know the exact size of the track but I can findout and try to make a practice track that resembles its dimensions. Mike Walsh (Walsh Racecraft) was telling me that they have oval racing on friday night and then TT racing on Saturday at the National races. I have never raced at that track before but I am sure we will be able to quickly adapt to it. The National tracks I hear are immaculately prepped.

Would anyone object with superstar not having nerf bars? He has pics of his bike in the photo gallary flat tracked and ready to go. with all the new saftey requirements i thought that might be an issue for him.

No objection from me because I already have bars but if two quads without bars get together it could get ugly. The track officials haven't mentioned any specifics about bike safety equipment, just safety equipment for the rider...boots, helmet, etc.
what are you talking about scooter?
I think he is referring to nerfbars being on backorder because his bike is a first year model...
