NEW BIKE: Check it out!
«

April 21, 2006, 08:16:15 PM »
Picked up my bike today, went down there (Yamaha Dealership) after school and just hung around until my dad showed up and we left with the bike! Got er home cranked it up and rode it down the driveway, my dads not going to let me drive in the neighorhood so w/e I'm still so pumped. I just want to ride that thing so bad. It cranked so easy I almost had an orgasm lol. So with out further ado.

Pfff.... No stinking valves to break or chains in the engine or whatever else those four strokes are up to. New piston, clean the powervalve, and you're good on a two stroke.

To me they sound so much better, braaaaaaaaap.
As opposed to FAAAAAAAAAAARRRTTTT lol. The tides are definately sifting towards four-strokes but I want to go back to good ol' premix and rip your arms off acceleration, before they go out!
Lemme give you a little list of reasons I switched.
1. Maintenence is easier, change only gear oil and it lasts alot longer than four stroke oil.
2. Simplicity: Less rotating parts= less chance for disaster
3. Power, lacks low end grunt but more than makes up with it with a big midrange boost, and just keeps pulling up top
4. Engine Braking: I got tired of engine braking very quickly, makes it nearly immpossible to jump with the throttle off, and before turns sucks up your entry speed if you don't pull in the clutch
5. No valve or cam chains or oil filters to be replacing.
I know I have more reasons but I need to go admire my new bike some more lol. Don't want to sound ignorant I know four-strokes are the future of the sport and I know these problems are being addressed (some) such as the new slipper clutches and stuff. But for now its two-stroke all the way for me!

Hopefully next week, I might have to wait even longer though... I might be getting a steroid pack or something like that for my back lol, then you have to not do much for a full week, but its worth it I am so fed up with back pain. I think I might do some benchpressing see if it really helps or not.
