Help me with this one guys.....

Hey everyone, I was wondering what size stnd bore piston size i should get? I have a 1985 atc 350X with dg header and pipe, uni filter, 400ex carb, and 14t front sporket. Those are the performance mods I have. My friend Efren (400exkid) says I should get a 11.1 stnd high comp piston. I say I should get 10.1. My stock right now is 8.1 compression. So I need your opinions and advice. And when I get the piston, I'm going to put bigger jets in to!!! So yeah just let me know what I should get. The only thing stopping me from getting 11.1 is the high octane gas I have to put, because gas just Isn't cheap anymore. And also the fact that I have kick start...lol.....Thanks in advance.......

With 11:1 you will need premix stuff, meaning half of race gas half 93 which equals out to abot 98octane.. unless you want to be spending 50 bucks for a 5 gallon tank of race gas, stick with the 10:1

iv talked to alot of ppl who have the 11:1 in there bikes and they have said u can run it on race gas and u would be fine

Efren I already know you have to run them on race gas, but that's not what I want. Like the other guy said I don't want to be waisting 50 bucks for a 5-gallon tank. So yeah I'm pretty sure I will go with the 10.1. And since I have stock 8.1, I should get a noticeable power and horespower increase right?

yea, just run 91 oct and you will be fine. If you cant find it, 93 will do.
