Nice!  My wife and I just booked a trip to Marathon for the first week of September, for the honeymoon we never had.  I hope the hurricanes miss that area, at least until we're gone.

i fish the keys all year roung, PKEENEY you should be fine as far as hurricanes in September, as far as the fishing, there is a great party boat out of islamorada which is close to where you'll be staying it called Robbies party boat, they have 3 trips a day 1 at 8am - 12pm, 2nd from 1-5 and the 3rd from 7:30 - 12:00am, the best trip out of the 3 is the night trip, call about a week in advance and ask to reserve some spots in the back of the boat its an extra $5 to reserve those spots( the best 2 spots are 11,12)the trip itself it $40 including rods, and bait and if you reserve the back of the boat its $45 plus you tip the mate $5- $10, its deffinitly worth the money, i fish off this boat atleast once a month for the past 5 years and never been skunked, i fished it last week and it was the worse i done in a while and i still brought home 6 yellow tail all between 1-4lbs, i also know a private charter for offshore and back country and he's the cheapest charter in the keys, and he will find you fish, if interested just pm me and i will give you more info and #
