Pics from Scrub 4/15

Myself and 5 others hit Scrub yesterday. I must say it was a nice time out. Had been hearing alot of negatives with all of the changes that are being made and all but I must say, I didn't notice much change during the ride. We did something that we normally don't do... that's park at the front as soon as you leave the paved road and hit those trails up there. Other than us getting lost for a bit because we were unfamiliar with those trails, it was a nice trip.
In the last few pics you'll see the guys riding out of the bushes. There was a part of the trail that we couldn't make it through, so we made our way around it . Other than it being dusty, it was a great day of riding.

No, that's not me. Why would I sell my bike w/ all that crap on it to get another stock bike? That has never made any sense to me   . anyway, that's a guy that works with me. He's getting better.

I don't go that way anymore. That's about 30-40 mins out of the way. I did see that you hit my 2way too. But that wasn't till we were loading up to head back in.

Nice pics. I was out there on friday and saturday. VERY VERY HOT THOSE DAYS. We parked out by blue sink. Heres a pic of me and my cousins. I'm on the 350x atc.

the doc lady told me to get out on the quad and take it easy to start moving my neck like normal again,,,,,and I have my daughter with me this weekend, so are you guys gonna be doing a slow trail ride at all?

It is when you go off of the trails and go through the bushes that gets us all in troble and gives us a bad name.  If the trails are impassible, you are to turn around and go back, not blaze a new trail.  You wonder why the rangers get mad and are thinking of closing a large amount of the trails around Big Scrub.  This is the reason, The laws say "no Cross Country",  That is exactly what you did.

it poured friday night, and then had a lil light rain in the afternoon today to re-wet the ground, no dust all day long, it was perfect

Not a one of them will listen to ya GrizzlyBear. That's why we're losing so many riding places. They find it easier to complain and break the rules than to follow a few rules I guess!

Whoa there a minute... I've never heard of this rule before? Not saying that it isn't, but I've never heard of it. As far as I'm concerned about the rule, or law... IT'S BS if ya ask me. No cross country riding? What do you think your doing when you ride the forrest? YOUR RIDING CROSS COUNTRY! The rules also state NO RIDING THROUGH WATER correct. Lemme guess... you woulda decided not to take your 4x4 through it ha? If you honestly think they're trying to keep us out of ONF b/c of that you'll believe anything. You know how many jeeps and dune buggies we saw ride through that water in our short time there? Had to be six that I can remember. They're alot of the reason the water was so deep in the first place. But I don't see them restricted from the trails like we are from "Clay roads." Nor do they have restrictions like we do.

Sorry trailor, we had one of the guys that was bringing 3 others had to work that weekend. I ended up just staying home and going to SandMountain to race.
