Last night I looked on this site and on the home page pic that comes up it was of a few riders on a road that was no doubt numbered because you could see it was graded and in too good of condition not to be and in ONF. Today is a pic of of 2 riders on one 4 wheeler going around water on a trail. The back rider was not wearing a helmet. A few weeks ago a friend of mine posted a pic of me with no helmet right across from Big Scrub campground and "Mr broke thumb SVTBOLT" added to the thread he wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't deleted because no helmet was on me. I didn't really care that my pic was deleted (and yes it was deleted Fred) but these 2 pics show what according to this site is "unlawfulness" so is it fair that they are shown in the "spotlight" if you will?

Don't loose any sleep over the no helmet rule /unlawfulness on this site. Its almost looked at as if you've broken some moral code .
I am sure there are  some who preach helmets when riding atv's , yet when they take the harley out for a sunday group ride dont  wear helmets.  The majority of the cruisers i see on the road dont wear helmets or its hangin off the side. Is it a smart decision to  not wear a helmet on the road ?

I have seen many who were militant about the must use  helmet issue on here who no longer post here are now on another site and not one of those wear helmets in the pics they post there . So again , Don't loose any sleep over the no helmet rule on this site. You're not bad person if you dont ,its simply a decision one makes whether its good or bad .

And for the record yes it is a wise CHOICE  to wear one when ridin any kind of bike ,2 ,3 or 4 wheels.

the no helmet rule is a rule made for this site,,,,some don't agree with it, in fact some rather prominent people here do not like that rule, but it is what it is.

The pictures that show up on the home page are randomly picked from pictures in the photo gallery and if a picture makes it on the site without a moderator deleting it, it is possible that it will show up on the home page.

for those of us who have been riding long enough(doesn't take long) we all know what CAN happen when someone wrecks without wearing a helmet.

I won't preach, but I teach my daughter that she will never get on the quad without a helmet.

Ida,

I wasn't aware of the site picking pics randomly. I've just seen a few helmetless pics on here and was like why did mine get deleted and these aren't.

No Seabolt I'm not picking on u because of your thumb. Have you written a poem on your thumb? Did the cheater who passed you on your race break it? Were you wearing your protective gear when it happened. If so what failed and caused the thumb to break. Can we send flowers?

Your 40 years old picking on a 17 year old? Reading my sponsorhouse profile also? Hey next time you go ride, forget your helmet, pack extra beer. Get drunk and hit a tree.

Hey Bolt,

I got a ? have you ever considered looking in the mirror and asking yourself will you marry me? Yeah I looked at your sponsorhouse, why have it if you don't want others to see what you are about. Personally I think you're a dork but that's just me. I picture you as Napolean Dynamite. So are all your races and other ventures in your life that fail and you don't win become the fault of others and they become a cheater because they were better than you. I'll be sure to get me a cane from the local old folks home too so you'll recognize me at Big Scrub.

Signed,
The Old Man

Why don't you just tell the dude you wish he was dead? Just a thought.

I don't know the code that the website is written with, so I cannot say for certain exactly how the pictures are picked, but I believe it says right on the home page that the pics are randomly picked.

I can say that I have seen one of my pics on there once in the whole time I've been a member here,,,,and it wasn't even a pic of ME, just one I took.

so for those who want to complain about which pics are up there,,,,find the pic in the photo section and report it,,,,sorry but even with 4 moderators, we don't have the time to go back through all the pictures in there and check them.

Well you should. It's time all the mods quit there full time jobs, and start moderating atvflorida full time. It is way more important. Nerd
