I really dont understand the difference between MX-TT.  I had 1.5" spacers on my YFZ and had to take them off because I could not get through some of the woods trails.

I have ridden on several tracks and the stock arms seem to be just fine.

What would be the benefits other than the obvious stability around fast turns?

Is that the only benefit?  I had a hard time riding through the woods with just an extra 3".  I want to upgrade the suspension but I dont want to spend money on a-arms if I dont have too.  Dont they make your  front end a little too wide for the woods on the average trails?

the only place it make a difference at is croom. if it is wide and stable enough for you then just put some elkas on it and you will never ride without them again

I guess that I just havent riden the areas that you guys ride.  Most of the trails in Ocala that we ride on our motocycles are tight and winding.  Most of them are to narrow for atv's.

I guess that over time on this forum I will learn the better areas for atv's.

Thanks for your input Dreth

Hey Flea, it deppends what kind of riding you are going to do, if you just ride for fun, like Dreth said, punt some Elkas (I'm fixing to get me a set) if you like to ride in flat tracks so go wide on the a-arms, but if you race like in FTR HS, then you don't want to go any wider, if you think Ocala is tight, you should see this tracks hehehe, for me Ocala is the best for fun riding, I havent seen any better area by now.

By the way Dreth, I've seen you have a lot of experience with Elkas, can you tell me where can I get the best deal Huh

Remeber that I have not been to Big Scrub.  We ride in an area by the St. Johns river that is only 45 minutes from Orlando.  The only wide trails there are the jeep roads.

I really want to ride in the scrub area but want to go with someone who knows their way around.

Thanks for all you input.

Ebay has some Elka dealers on there with great prices and quick turn-a-round times. I got Triple Rate Elkas without rezzies for 464.00 + free shipping to my door in 8 days. A friend of mine (1fast250r) Just got a set with rezzies for 849.00 with a 10 day wait. You do a "buy it now" on the auction and call or email your rider info and they order them custom for you.
