i am looking at 2 atvs kodiak 450 or articat 400.i know alot about the yamaha but havent heard anything on the articat.they both have the same features but the articat has 2 more inches of ground clerance and 2 year warrenty.i know the yamaha would probably last for everbut the articat is 500 cheaper.any thoughts.i forgot to add.my uses for this atv is to go mudding climb hills and crawl threw the woods.or the brute force 650.
thanks

A warranty is only as good as the dealer.  Do you have a good arctic cat dealer in your area?

Buy an artic cat 650, V-twin power is awsome. Ground clearance. tallest and most wheel travel. And GrizzleyBear is correct. Warranty is as good as dealer. I do know from experience that Polaris has the worst customer service and they say lifetime warranty on belts. They will only replace one. Then try to sell you a clutch claiming the belt messed it up. Don't beleive that story. Thats what they told my cousin and he is still running the stock clutch 8 months later with no problems

I wanted this quad but i'm not gonna get this thing but you might like it. Grin

2003 Arctic cat 400i 4x4 5spd manual hunter green with high and low selector
26' vampire tires Front and rear (great mud tires8))
stock rims
K&n fllter
suppertrapp pipe
F&R bumpers
warn 2500 pound winch with remote rocker switch
700 miles on it but i drove it and it runs great and puts out good power
Asking 3800 but will take 3500

This is a good deal espically for the mods. I don't have the guys number but i can get it. It is at crossroads motorsports in st.jhons county. I can give dirctions if you want them to look at it or i can post a few pics IF I KNEW HOW!!! Angry THis would be more worth it considering the mods.  A new one without the mods will be doubble. Also if you are using it for slow woods riding or mudding then it might be a really good quad.

Hondas drive shaft is the best thing that ever came out. If you like playing in water and if you have a belt driven bike your in trouble
