i'm new to the site and from georgia.  me and a couple of buddies were talking about going to rodman dam at the end of april.  we don't know a whole lot about it, just hear it is a good place to ride.  i assume that you can camp there?  and are there any rules as far as riding at night?  and if you can ride at night, are there many problems with people messing with your stuff?  we've got our kitchen passes and were trying to find a good place to ride without traveling accross the state of florida.  we live just north of jacksonville,fl.  any info. would be greatly appreciated!

Use the search tool on this site and you'll see lots of info on Rodman Dam.

That's the best way to see a lot of info.

There is no riding at night in the Ocala National Forest.  You can not camp at Rodman and ride from your campsite. You can however camp At Lake Delancy West, and ride the new trail system in the forest, including riding to Rodman Dam.

http://www.fs.fed.us/r8/florida/local-resources/images/maps/oca/oca%20restrict%202005.pdf Lake Delancy West is the campground at the top of this map off 75. Big Scrub is off 588 at the bottom.
