Was riding at onf south of big scrub sunday and good ole ranger bob (guy with forest service shirt and signs on his quad) stops me and say's my hmf pipe is to loud and i tell him its u.s.f.s. approved and he said its still to loud, that i gutted it out which i didn't. When i asked him what the db limit was he couldn't give me a answer that it was just to loud. Well anyways he ended up stoping me three times over the same thing. Called the forest service and they told me he's a volunteer and he is supposed to check and make sure they have a spark arrester and thats it. Anyone else have any encounters with this guy.

He tried to stop me and a friend of mine..well needless to say he shoulda never turned his back...We were gone..lol...
Then he stopped me and Holeshot and said we can't be riding at night....ahhh some ppl (before the night ban was in affect)

Wow i didn't see your post about him before triple r. When i called the forest service they told me if he gets four complaints about him he's done and he already has one  |

Tell him its its to loud then to write you a ticket for it if he has the authority. If he can't give you the decibels then I think he can'y right you up for it. My 02cents. But not for sure.

Yeah, Ranger Bob definately is on a bit of an ego trip. He pulled out in front of us when we were haulin azz down the powerlines... I think he had a death wish, lol... Erb almost creamed him.

I got a nasty note let on my bike ffrom him one time when i rode my bike to the restroom... why didnt he just tell me?
It only take 45 seconds for the average guy to go pee...
He pulled up, wrote the note, then split... :-/ thought it was odd at the time...
