my brother got a new clutch kit for his kfx400 and were putin it on rite now, i just need to know how tight the bolts that hold the pressure plate on need to be... need help kinda quick we are goin to croom saterday

they will break if you really get on them. 8 to 10 foot pounds. use a 1/4 DRIVE socket DONT GO CRAZY

i called my local dealer they said they should be "snug"... is "snug" about 8-10 pounds like u said?

I would tighten them to 300nm if I were you.

alrite well my brother just put it back togethr snug, so i think itl be fine i dont have a torque rench...

the cluch is on and the oils in and it makes a scraping nois 4 a sec wene i pill the clutch in is this normal its the first time its ran with the new cluch, it works fine and the iols all at corect level and evry thing is good...
help!!

umm yea how long is "break in" suposed 2 take on a new cluch cuz it still squeeks...
i gess ill find out at croom tomaro
