I need a BIG favor

I would like everyone to please say a prayer for a friend of mine. He is 13 years old and i played baseball with him sincei was 8 or so till a few years back. A few years back he was diagnosed with Luqemia(sp?).  He has been living up north at Duke University for a lil over a year now. They have been running tests and and giving him meds while up there trying to cure his disease. He had got to come home last week for the first time in over a year. During Super Bowl Sunday he had a head ache in the after noon and then his arm went numb, they took him to the hospital and it turns out he had a stroke at the rightful young age of 13. They took him back up to DUKE and ran more tests. It turns out he was luqemia free but a fungus had developed in his brain. They do not know what caused the stroke but they think it may have been the meds. As of right now he is lying in a hospital bed unconcious. They do not know if he will survive.

If it is not too much to ask id like for everyone to please say a prayer for him and to keep him in your thoughts. This boy has no reason to die and that is the last thing his dad would need. There family is one tight knit family. Please just say a prayer to maybe have the help of the Lord to keep him alive.

Hey I was reading about your friend that is sick.My Family will keep him in our prayers.Last week I cried.The reason for this,My husbands boss called him in early.Where he works they donate money for children that are in your friends position.Well all this 13 year old kid wanted was to know how a Train works,Mechaniclly wise.So my Husband voluntered to spend time with him and walk him over how it all works.This kid looked like he had stars in his eyes.At the end my husband looks at him and says "you ready to drive it" You can imagine how the kid felt.So my husband picks the boy up sits him in the seat,and lets him drive the train.My husband calls me up and tells me all this with a catch in his throat.Made him feel so good to be that kids hero.

Now to me THIS should have been a news story.The media does not do enough of the heart warming stories for me.

Gezz sorry to here that i lost one of my best friends to cancer he had hotchkins got it  in 9th and fought it for as long he could and pasted away last  year 2 weeks before he turned 20 its a horrible thing to deal with.. you jsut ogtta keep your hopes up
